Today I will talk about plants. I am a plant biologist, and I appreciate plants. There is a lot of diversity in the plant kingdom. However, not all of them look like regular plants. Here are some weird ones.
Rhizanthella
This is an orchid that does not do photosynthesis. Very little research has been done on this plant, it is small and very rare. The orchid only eists in West Australia. No one knows how it lives.

Calathea
I don't like this plant, purely because it keeps dying when I keep it as a house plant. Almost every other houseplant does fine in my house, but this one always decides to instantly die the moment I give it too much water. That is just rude.
Why can't you just live peacefully in my house? I paid for you.
Nettle
Did you really just have to sting me? I am not an enemy, I am just trying to move past you. Nettles sting as a defense against being eaten, and it is effective I guess. But that just hurts. I bet they enjoy doing it.
